1/2 c. butter
2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
4 Tbsps hot water
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp soda
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2 c. flour
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg (I only use 1/2 tsp)
5 c. thinly sliced rhubarb

Directions:

Mix together and bake in 350 oven for 50 to 60 minutes. Serve with caramel sauce. CARMEL SAUCE: 1 c. butter, 1 c. white sugar, 2 Tbsp flour and 1 c. cream. Boil for 2 minutes and then add 1 tsp of vanilla. Serve cake with cool whip and warm caramel sauce.
