1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. hazelnuts ground fine
2 c. flour
2 egg whites
Jelly or Jam
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks, vanilla. Blend in flour.
Make balls. Roll in egg whites and then roll in hazelnuts.
Put on sheet and press down and indent center with thumb.
Bake 350º for 10 minutes.

Add 1 tsp. jam or jelly to center. Tinted powder sugar frosting could also be used in the center.
