1 1/2 lbs. top round steak
2 green peppers
1 large onion
1 16 oz. can of diced tomatoes
salt & pepper
olive oil
water
Cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Trim steak of any fat on outside. Cut into 6 pieces and saute in olive oil. Add some water, cover and cook over low to medium heat approx. 1/2 to 3/4 hour. Check in between you might have to add more water. When meat seems tender add peppers, onions & tomatoes and cook about 15 minutes. Remove steak from pan and add a mixture of water and cornstarch to thicken. You also could add more salt & pepper at this point if needed. This is great served over mashed potatoes.
