1 C butter
½ C confectioners sugar
2 C Flour
¼ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Wash butter, add sugar gradually, and flour which has been sifted with the baking powder and salt. Roll dough 1/3 inch thick, cut out in squares or rounds, prick tops with fork and decorate if desired. Bake 20 -25 minutes in moderate oven [350 degrees] or until delicately brown. Makes 24 or more.
