6 c. uncooked regular oats
1 c. slivered or sliced almonds
1 c. sweetened coconut
6 T. sesame seeds
1/2 c. flaxseed or flaxseed meal
1 c. dried fruit (I like dried cranberries)
1 jar creamy peanut butter
1 stick of butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 T. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350º Toss first 6 ingredients in a large bowl and set aside. In a sauce pan melt peanut butter and butter. Add remaining ingredients. Stir until smooth and remove from heat. Stir peanut butter mixture into oat mixture until blended. Spread mixture in a single layer on 2 lightly greased, foil-lined 17 * 12 inch jelly-roll pan. Bake 20 min or until golden brown. Transfer to wax paper to cool completely. Serve with yogurt, ice cream, bananas, with milk or just eat alone as a delicious snack.

This recipe is doubled and can be cut in half. I recommend using the doubled recipe because it is so good it gets eaten up fast. Great for gifts or loading borrowed tupperware to be returned to rightful owner.
