1 unbaked pie shell
8-9 apples of your choice. (good to mix tart and sweet varieties) Cut into 8ths
Combine and mix with apples:
3/4 c. sugar
2 T. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
Sprinkle with 2 T. lemon juice

Topping:
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 cube of margarine/butter

Directions:
Directions:
After peeling apples and cutting them place in water with lemon juice or fruit fresh to prevent them from turning brown. Drain them good before combining with sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Cut together sugar, flour, butter and put over apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Put in heavy paper bag. Staple shut and put on cookie sheet. Bake at 425º for 1 hour and 5 minutes. Let set to cool some before serving.
