1 c. margarine
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. finely chopped walnuts
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
3 c. quick cooking oatmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine, add sugar gradually, blend in eggs. Sift flour & soda and add with oatmeal to creamed mixture. Shape into two rolls, chill for several hours. Slice and bake 350º for 10 minutes.

We all like this as frozen cookie dough. Grandma Farr always had some dough in the freezer to bake for us when Kenny and I were dating.
