2 c. unbleached flour
1 c. chopped walnuts, opt.
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. mini chocolate chips, opt.
1 tsp. baking soda
3 very ripe lg. bananas, mashed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vanilla yogurt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 lg. eggs
1/4 tsp. allspice
6 TB. butter, melted and cooled
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 325. Grease a large 9x5 loaf pan and set aside. Combine dry ingredients, nuts and chips in a large bowl, set aside. In a med. bowl mix the bananas, yogurt, eggs, butter and vanilla. Fold this into the dry ingredients until just combined and batter is thick and chunky. Spoon the batter into the loaf pan and smooth the surface with a spatula. Bake until golden brown, about 70-75min. Cool in pan for 5 minutes and then turn out and let cool on a wire rack.

I know there is already banana bread recipes in here, but this one has chocolate in it! I say forget the nuts and double the chocolate.
