6 medium green peppers
1 lb ground beef
1/3 cup chopped onions
2 cups (1 can) stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 cups cooked rice (or 3/4 cup uncooked instant rice)
1 cup shredded sharp American cheese
2 Tbsps Worchestershire sauce
salt and pepper

Directions:
Remove pepper tops, seeds and membrane. Precook peppers in boiling salted water in covered saucepan, about 5 minutes. Brown meat and onion in skillet on medium heat, stirring frequently, until red color is gone from meat. Add tomatoes, rice, Worchestershire sauce, salt and pepper to taste. If using uncooked rice, cover and simmer until rice is almost tender, Add cheese, stuff peppers. Cover and bake at 350 F for 30 minutes.
