1 box German Chocolate cake mix
1/2 stick butter, softened
2/3 c. evaporated milk
6 oz. chocolate chips
14 oz. bag caramels
1 c. peanuts (chopped)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the cake mix, butter, 1/3 of milk, and nuts.

Spread 1/2 mixture in a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan, and bake at 350º for 10 minutes.

Melt caramels with the other 1/3 of milk.

Remove mixture from the oven, sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top, then spread on the caramel and the last 1/2 of cake mixture.

Bake for and additional 20 minutes.
