Grandma’s Butterscotch Oatmeal
2 Cups butter (4 sticks)
1 Cup light brown sugar
2 Cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs
2 Teaspoons vanilla
2 Teaspoons salt
2 heaping teaspoons baking soda
5 ˝ Cups all-purpose flour
6 Cups oatmeal (Old Fashioned, not instant)
2 packages Nestle’s butterscotch chips (32 oz.)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. Mix butters and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until dough starts to peak. Pour in flour, salt and baking soda and mix with a spoon. Add oatmeal until blended. Add butterscotch chips to mixture. Place on cookie sheet and bake 8 – 10 minutes—don’t over-cook them. Makes a gazillion.
