1 (6oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 (10 1/2 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows
1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
6 tbsp. margarine
2 c. Rice Krispies cereal
1/2 gal. brick ice cream

Melt chocolate pieces and milk to a boil. Boil gently for 4 minutes or until thick. Keep stirring. Add marshmallows and stir until melted. Then chill. In skillet cook and stir coconut in margarine till lightly brown. Add cereal to the coconut mixture. Spread 3 c. of cereal mixture in bottom of 13x9 in. baking dish. Cut ice cream in half length wise and then again horizontally in 12 pieces. Making 24 pieces total. Place 12 pieces of ice cream over the cereal mixture then top with chocolate. Repeat cereal mixture, ice cream and chocolate for 2 layers.
