2 sticks butter
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. karo syrup (dark, if available)

Directions:
Bring above to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1/2 tsp baking soda. Put the following in a paper bag sprayed with Pam and pour mix onto:

16 oz. salted peanuts (or mixed nuts)
17 oz box corn chex (any variety)

Put into microwave for 2 minutes on high. Take out and shake. Repeat two more times (6 minutes total in microwave). Pour mixture onto wax paper to dry. Store in airtight container.
