"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Directions:
1) Put butter, cream cheese, and syrup into a bowl. Heat in the microwave until butter is melted and cream cheese is in chunks. (feel free it stir it up)

2) Grease pyrex dish (9x13 pan). Fill pan with cut up bread.

3) Beat eggs, half & half, and vanilla together

4) Pour butter mixture over bread, then pour egg mixture over bread.

5) sprinkle with cinnamon

6) Bake at 375 for approx. 30 minutes (as long as 40) until crispy on top and eggs look cooked. (You can cover with foil after 20 minutes if the top is looking too brown).

7) Can serve with maple syrup, but often not necessary. Enjoy!
