Ingredients:
1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
chili sauce
salt & pepper
8 hamburger buns
minced dried onion
16 cheese slices

Directions:
Directions:
Combine beef, seasonings and 1/2 c. of chili sauce in a bowl, add more chili sauce to make speadable consistency. Place the 16 half's of the hamburger buns on two cookie sheets with sides. Place one slice of cheese on each. Spread a thin layer of the meat mixture on top of the cheese, using a fork and place under the broiler. WATCH as can burn quickly!

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
A fork works good to combine and spread the mixture. Also it needs to be a thin layer as the beef is raw and needs to cook through but not burn. Mom made these on Christmas Eve 2006 after church Sunday nite. Men seem to eat as many as we make!
