1/2 Cup sliced almonds
3 Tbsp. Sugar
1/2 head Iceberg lettuce
1/2 head Romaine Lettuce
1 Cup chopped celery
5 green onions, chopped
1- 11 ounce can Mandarin oranges, drained

1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. chopped celery
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. vinegar
Dash of hot sauce (Tobasco)

Saute almonds & sugar in a small pan, watch carefully so that they do not burn. Cool.

Mix dressing ingredients together & chill.

Mix lettuces, celery & onion.

Just before serving, add Mandarin oranges, almonds & dressing.
