2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 sticks of margarine
4 T. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs (beaten)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Frosting:
4 T. cocoa
1 stick of margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
6 T. milk
3 3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts


Directions:
Directions:
Bring margarine, cocoa & water to a boil. Combine sugar & flour, stirring with a whisk. Pour hot mixture over sugar & flour mixture. Stir. Add remaining ingredients & mix well. Pour into 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 (jelly roll or sheet cake) pan. Bake at 400º for 20 min. Cool cake while making frosting. Do frost cake while warm.
FROSTING: Bring margarine cocoa & milk to a boil. Stir in powdered sugar & vanilla. Stir in nuts. Pour over cake.

Substitute for buttermilk - put 1 tsp. vinegar in 1/2/ c. measuring cup, fill cup with milk, stir, making sour milk which can be substituted for buttermilk.
