1/2 egg
1 cup finely ground hazelnuts
1 cup butter, real soft (must be butter, not margarine)
3/4 cup sugar
2-1/2 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
1-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Vanilla sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except vanilla sugar and knead into a smooth dough with your hands. Taking one tsp of dough at a time, form small crescents about 1-1/2 inches long. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in preheated, moderate oven (350º) until slightly brown (about 15-17 minutes). Cool for 1 minute. While still warm, roll cookies in vanilla sugar. Cool completely and roll again in vanilla sugar again.
