1 Pastry Shell, unbaked
4 c. Apples, sliced
1/2 c. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Salt

Topping:
3/4 c. Flour
1/2 c. Brown Sugar
1/3 c. Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine apples, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and salt; place in pastry shell. Combine topping ingredients and with pastry blender; mix together until it resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle over apple slices. Bake at 425º for 15 minutes, then at 350º for 40 minutes.

A nice variation of apple pie. I like it because it isn't as heavy as a 2 crust pie. Also, this is easy to put into a frozen crust and you have pie for dessert!
