1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. catsup
3 Tbsp. salad oil
1/2 c. water
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt & pepper
Drop of Tabasco Sauce
1 tsp. paprika
12 franks

Directions:
Lightly brown onion in salad oil. Add combined remaining ingredients, except franks and simmer 15 minutes. Split franks; place in shallow glass baking dish. Pour barbeque sauce over and bake in moderate oven (375º) for 30 minutes; basting several times. Serves 6
