Pastry for two pies
1 qt. home canned apples
1 qt. home canned peaches
2 cups sugar
1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Blend all ingredients together.
Fill pie shells; cover with top crust.
Poke holes with fork allowing to breathe
Brush surface with egg wash (optional); sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar; dot with a few thin tabs of butter
Bake at 375º for 35 min.; cover with foil & bake an additional 15-20 min.
