Neiman-Marcus Cookies Recipe

1 c. unsalted butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2/3 of an 8 oz Hershey Bar, grated
2-1/2 c. blended oatmeal
12 oz bag real chocolate chips

1 c. chopped nuts (your choice)

Measure oatmeal, and blend in a blender to a fine

Cream the butter with electric mixer and add both of the sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Add the flour, oatmeal, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Mix well. Add chocolate chips, grated Hershey Bar and the nuts. Mix gently. Roll into balls, and place about two inches apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes at 375.
