1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup margarine (use only margarine that has 100 calories per tablespoon, Western Family)
1 cups white sugar
1 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips or mini M&M's
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
2 cups flour
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups rice crispies

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the sugars, margarine, and shortening. Add the eggs and mix well. Stir in chocolate and butterscotch chips. Add baking powder, baking soda, salt and flour. Mix well. Add oatmeal and mix together. Stir in rice crispies. With cookie scoop, drop 12 scoopfulls onto cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes or until lightly brown at 350º.
