1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. Crisco or shortening
1 c. sorghum
1 egg
1 T. each -- cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger
1 T. soda
1 T. vinegar
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Add enough flour to make soft dough -- 3 - 31/2 cups. Put dough in roll, store in refrigerator overnight, slice and bake at 350º Don't over bake. Store in tight container while warm. The older they are, the better. Good warm--- will keep a long time with baking.
