1 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 large apple
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Stir flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Beat sugar and 1/4 c. shortening till fluffy. Add egg and vanilla till mixed well. Stir 1/2 of flour mixture into sugar mixture. Add sour cream and rest of flour mixture. Stir in chopped apple. Spread evenly in 8x8 greased pan. Mix together chopped nuts, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of batter. Bake at 350º for 25-30minutes.
