1 qt. freshly hulled strawberries
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. corn starch
1 c. water
1/4 tsp. lemon or almond flavoring
1 tsp. red food coloring
1 baked pie shell
Whipped cream topping
Directions:
Directions:
Wash berries and set aside. Combine sugar, cornstarch, and water. Cook 5 minutes or until thick and clear. Add flavoring and food coloring. Place berries in a baked pie shell. Pour glazing over strawberries while still very hot. Chill and garnish with whipped cream when ready to serve.
