2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch soda
food coloring
flavoring of choice

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve sugar, water, vinegar. Cook till 250º with candy thermometer. Mix in other ingredients. Grease cookie sheet and pour taffy and cool about 15 minutes. Then pull taffy and shape.
