2-2 1/2 Italian sausage links
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped, reserve juice
1 (12oz.) can tomato paste
1 (15oz.) can tomato puree or sauce
3 tbsp. sugar or honey
1-1 1/2 tbsp. Italian seasoning
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
1 (8oz.) can mushrooms, sliced and drained

Brown sausage and ground beef in a large skillet, drain. Add onion and garlic. Cook. Add tomatoes, tomato paste and tomato puree. Mix well. Also add sugar, Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and mushrooms. Add reserve tomato juice to desired thickness. Cook all ingredients 3-4 hours
