1-4 fresh peaches
red wine
Optional: lemon peel, sugar, and/or cinnamon

Peel the peaches. Cut the peaches in half and remove the pit. Cut the peaches into thinner slices. Pour the wine over the peaches and let them stand for at least 30 minutes.

On Sunday's my grandmother, Mary, cooked for everyone and my grandfather, Domenick Larobina, would make this treat. My grandfather was one of the founders and past presidents of the Lega.
