BEAT TOGETHER:

1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. white sugar
4 eggs (1 at a time)
1 can chocolate syrup
1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. nuts chopped

Directions:

Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.

MIX:
1 stick margarine
4 c. powdered sugar
4 Tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. peppermint flavoring
2 drops green food coloring.

Spread on cooled bars.

FROSTING:

6 Tbsp. butter
6 Tbsp. milk
1 1/2 c. sugar

Boil 30 seconds and then add 6 oz. chocolate chips. Beat until right consistency.
