1-pkg. dry yeast
2-cups lukewarm water
4-cups self rising flour
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 -cup melted shortening or oil
1-egg

Preheat oven 375º-
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Mix together with other ingredients in lg. bowl. Store in refrigerator covered. Well keep for several days.
When ready to use, take bowl from refrigerator. Put wax paper or foil on counter and sprinkle generously with flour. I usually dip out 1-tbsp. full at time and lightly coat with flour and round up and layer on greased cookie sheet. Bake 375º till brown.

Makes great biscuits. If lazy, can bake in greased muffin pan. Just spoon in from bowl. Yum! Yum!
