Ingredients:

¼ cup butter
½ cup sugar
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ½ cup sifted flour
½ tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt

Topping:
2 egg whites, beaten
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 cup ground nuts
prune or apricot jam

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar, beat well. Add egg yolks and vanilla, beat well. Add dry ingredients and again beat well. Spread dough in 9x13, greased pan; carefully spread on top the jam, then the egg whites which have been beaten well with the sugar. Sprinkle with nuts-bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
