1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 3/4 c. flour (possibly more)
chocolate chips
3/4 c. coconut
walnuts - optional


Directions:
Directions:
mix shortening and sugars together. Add eggs, evaporated milk and vanilla. Add in dry ingredients.
Add chips, coconut and nuts.

chill several hours.

Bake 375º for 10 minutes.

Cool and frost (butter, evaporated milk, vanilla and pwd. sugar)
