2 lbs. Lean ground beef
Salt and pepper to taste
½ Onion, chopped
1 T. oil
1 Beef bullion cube
2 Cups hot water
¼ Cup flour
6 Large potatoes, peeled and diced
1 T. salt
1 Cup milk
1 Stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and dice potatoes. Place in saucepan and cover with water and sprinkle salt. Cover and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer potatoes until tender. Drain potatoes. Add butter to milk and heat in microwave 45 seconds. Pour milk and butter into potatoes and whip until smooth.

While potatoes are cooking, sauté chopped onion in oil until clear, add ground beef. Brown ground beef and add salt and pepper. Dissolve bullion cube in hot water. Add flour to beef and stir. Slowly add hot beef broth while stirring. Simmer until slightly thick and bubbly. Pour beef mixture into casserole dish. Spoon and spread mashed potatoes on top of beef mixture. Bake in 400° oven for approximately 20 minutes. Brush top with melted butter and continue cooking until light brown.
