1- 15oz can kidney beans
1- 15oz can black beans
1 T olive oil
1 onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1- 15 oz can tomato puree
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Put the beans in a strainer and give them a quick rinse with cold water. Put the olive oil in a large pot. Then add the onion garlic cook for 3 minutes over medium heat. Then add the beans add the cumin, turmeric, salt and pepper and cook for 2 minutes letting the flavor get into the beans. Add the tomato Puree and let chili come to a boil stirring often simmer for 5 min. Then serve in bowls with a generous sprinkle of fresh parsley. Add cheese, sour cream, avacado, chips, etc.
