INGREDIENTS:

2 packages of soften cream cheese (8 oz.)
1/2 jar of mild taco sauce
1 to 1-1/2 cups of shredded lettuce
1 to 1-1/2 cups of chopped tomatoes
1/4 cup of minced sweet onions
1/2 to 1 cup of mild cheddar cheese, shredded
1 bag of round taco chips

Blend softened cream cheese and taco sauce. Spread 1/2 inch thick on 2 dinner plates or on one large serving platter. Sprinkle the topping, making layer starting with the lettuce, onion, tomato, and top with cheese. Arrange chips around the outer edge of the dip, pushing the chip into the cream cheese base (in a petal like fashion). Use chips to dip and eat.
