3 c. pecans
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. margarine
1 tbsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pecans in shallow pan in oven at 250º for 5 minutes. While that is cooking, cook the corn syrup, sugar, and margarine on top of stove for 5 minutes. After sugar is dissolved, cook for 5 minutes without stirring. Add vanilla.
Add cooked pecans to syrup and stir until fully coated. Spread in ungreased 13x9 pan. Bake at 250º for 1 hour. Coat pecans with 1/4 cup sugar and spread onto wax paper to cool.
