1 3/4 cup sugar
1 cup margarine
4 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups sifted flour
21 oz. can pie filling

Glaze:
3 T. sugar
3 T butter
3 T milk
powdered sugar
vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and oleo. Add eggs, salt, baking powder, vanilla, and flour. Spread half batter on greased jelly roll pan. Cover with pie filling. Dot on rest of batter and bake about 30 minutes or less at 350º.

Heat sugar, butter and milk until butter is melted. Add powdered sugar to consistency of thin glaze. Add 1/2 tsp. white vanilla. Pour on cake.
