3 cups sugar
1 cup salad oil
4 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2/3 cup water
2 cups canned pumpkin
3 1/2 flour
e tsp. soda
1 cup nuts
1 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Beat sugar and oil. Add eggs and beat. Add pumpkin. Mix salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and soda into flour. Add alternately with water.

Pour into 3 greased bread pans and bake about 1 hour or less at 350º.

I got this recipe in the late 1960's and have been making it since then. Try not to overbake.
