1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
3 eggs
1/2 cup milk (add more if batter is dry using 1/4 cup at a time
1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking Soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking Powder
2 tsp. honey
1 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. nutmeg
3 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/2 cup oatmeal
1 cup raisins
3/4 cup of chopped honey roasted peanuts
2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350º. Usine an electric mixer, cream butter, shortening and sugar. Mix until fluffy. Add eggs and beat until mixture is lightly colored. Add milk. STIR together dry ingredients into cream mix. Fold in oatmeal, vanilla, peanuts, honey and raisins, blending very well. Drop bu rounded spoonfuls onto cookie sheet(s) sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Cool on cookie rake for 5 min. befor serving.
