1 loaf Texas toast, cut in diagonal 1" slices
8 eggs
1 c. milk
3/4 c. half & half
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. margarine
1 1/3 c. brown sugar
3 T. corn syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange bread in greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Beat eggs, milk, cream, vanilla, and cinnamon. Pour over bread, cover, refrigerate over night. Combine margarine, sugar and syrup in saucepan until bubbly. Pour over bread and egg mixture. Bake at 350º uncovered for 40 minutes. (maybe longer)

Note: It puffs up at the end of baking but flattens out as it cools.
