5 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. light Karo
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. pecans (large pieces)
2 unbaked pie crusts

Beat eggs; add sugar and beat. Add Karo and vanilla, then pecans. Pour into unbaked crusts. Bake at 325º for 40 - 45 minutes. (Use 3 eggs for 1 pie.)

Mother liked the time Uncle Gene complimented his mother (Mimi) on the pecan pie saying she made the best pecan pie. Mimi said Rose made it!
