2 lbs. round steak
3/4 c. flour
enough flour in a pan to coat steak
1 c. vegetable oil
2 quarts water
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cut steak into serving pieces. Coat in flour, on both sides. Put the oil in electric skillet. Fry the steak in the skillet until browned. Remove from skillet.
Add 3/4 c. flour to oil in pan. Brown flour.
Pour in 2 qts. water and keep stirring until you have a thin gravy.
Put your cooked steak in gravy and simmer 3 or 4 hours, or until steak Is tender.
Turn steak 3 of 4 times while simmering, and add water if gravy gets too thick.
