Romaine lettuce
walnuts (a good handful)
spinach
red grapes (cut in half)
strawberries (cut in half)
Maries Poppyseed Dressing

Directions:

Wash lettuce and spinach and tear into bite size pieces. Add remainng ingredients and toss gently.
Serve immediately.

Great summer salad. VARIATION: I "candy" almonds or walnuts in 4 tsp. sugar, put nuts and sugar in saucepan and brown SLOWLY-they burn quickly. I make a dressing using: 1/4 c. half & half, 1/2 c. mayo, 1 1/2 TB. sour cream, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 TB. red wine vinegar, and 2 TB. poppy seeds. Shake well and serve over salad. This was brought to us by a friend when Jonah was born, we loved it!
