1/2 cup honey`1/2 cup molasses`3/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tbs. lemon juice
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/3 cup nuts
2 3/4 cups sifted flour
1/3 cup citron
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves

Mix wet ingredients and then add dry. Chill dough overnight. Roll small amount at a time, keeping rest chilled. Roll out 1/4 inch thick and cut 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 inches. Place one inch apart on greased baking sheet. Bake until then touched lightly no imprints remain. Guess on temperature.

Frosting: Boil together:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water to a thread..230º. Remove from heat and add 1/4 cup powdered sugar and brush hot icing thinly over cookies.
