6 oz. cherry Jello
1 large can crushed pineapple, drain and reserve
1 can jellied whole berry cranberry sauce (kind with whole cranberries)
1 c. ginger ale, 7-up, sprite or sierra mist
8 oz. carton cool whip
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
chopped pecans, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Add water to reserved pineapple juice to make 1 1/2 cups. Heat juice until it begins to boil (in microwave or stovetop) then add jello, stir to dissolve. Set aside.

Mix cranberry sauce, pineapple, and ginger ale in a large bowl. Add jello mixture and mix well. Pour into 9 x 12 dish and let set in refrigerator.

Topping::
Combine cream cheese and cool whip, mix well. Spread over firm jello mixture. Top with pecans if desired.
