Sauce
1/4 C Salad Oil
1 C Chopped Onion
1 Clove Garlic, chopped
1 Can Italian Tomatoes (whole, undrained) 2 cups
16 oz Can Tomato Paste (3/4 C)
1/4 tsp Dried Oregano
1 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Pepper
1 tsp Dried Basil
2 T Sugar
2 T Chopped Parsley

Directions:
Directions:
1) Heat oil, onion and garlic. Stir 5 minutes.
2) Add remaining ingredients and 1/2 cup water, mix well and bring to boil.
3) Reduce heat, simmer 1-1/2 hours.

Shells
1/2 box large shells cooked according to package directions.

Filling
1 C Cottage Cheese (squeeze water out & before adding other ingredients). Add 1/4 lb mozzarella, 1/4 tsp garlic salt, 1 T parsley, (1 T chopped onion) and 1 egg.

Stuff shells with filling. Put sauce on bottom of casserole dish. Place stuffed shells in and cover with rest of sauce. Top with Parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup if desired. Bake 375 degrees until cheese is bubbling. Serve with garden salad and rolls. Delicious family recipe. We love having this.
