Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 med. yams or sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces
1 tsp. chili powder
1 lg. green sweet pepper, cut into strips
3/4 tsp. ground coriander
1 c. frozen whole kernel corn
1/2 tsp. salt (I may not use that)
1 med. onion, sliced and seperated into rings
2 c. water
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 10-ounce can chopped tomatoes with green chili peppers (I think I use a 14.5 ounce can) now how much I use, probably less)
1 1/2 pounds boneless pork shoulder, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
1-9oz. pkg. frozen cut green beans

Directions:
Directions:
In a crock pot place all ingredients, except green beans. Cover cook on low-heat setting for 7-8 hours or on high-heat setting for 3 1/2-4 hours, adding the frozen green beans the last 15 minutes of cooking time. (I think I would add them the last 30 minutes. Depends on how cooked you like them.)

A quick tip: I buy pork chop suey meat when it is on sale - $1.99 a pound sometimes and use that. It is already cut into nice cubes. This recipe came from the Better Homes and Garden Crockery Cooker of 1998. I don't know if any of you would try it because it is rather different. I doubt if little kids would eat it. We really like it, but then Bob always says I shop in the aisle of weird at the grocery store.
