1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 white onion, chopped
5 to 6 garlic cloves, chopped
24 ounces tomato paste
2 1/2 cups red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon is good)
1 1/2 cups water
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground dry oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned black pepper
3 teaspoons salt
1 + teaspoon chili powder
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
1 + tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
1 can (28 ounce) wild Porcini sauce
1 jar (6 1/2 ounce) sun-dried tomato pesto

Directions:
Directions:
Saute' onion and garlic in oil until translucent (1-2 minutes)
Add tomato paste, wine and water
Add seasonings, fresh herbs, mushrooms and cheese; stir well
Add Porcini sauce and tomato pesto and simmer 6-8 hours, stirring frequently to prevent burning
Modify seasonings to taste after the sauce has cooked long enough to incorporate all flavors
