2 cups light brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 cup butter or margarine
1/4 t. cream of tartar
1 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
6 qts. popped corn

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Butter a roasting pan or sheet cake pan. Combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, cream of tartar and salt in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil and boil rapidly on medium heat stirring constantly until mixture reaches 260º. Remove from heat & stir in soda mixing thoroughly. Immediately pour over popped corn in a large bowl, stirring until well coated. Spread corn onto pan. Bake @ 200º for 1 hour stirring every 15 mins. Store in tightly covered container.
